Ann Butler Designs Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,

I am so excited to be a part of this fabulous blog hop!  My close friend and Designer, Ann Butler, has designed two brand new stamps lines with Unity Stamp Company and KellyCraft Innovations and also a brand new line of inkpads from Clearsnap!

Ann's new line of rubber stamps allows crafters like myself, who love the look of quilting but don't sew.  As you will see with my pillow, it looks like I spent hours and hours quilting the front, when in reality the pillow took me less than an hour for me to create.

Join me along with 11 other professional designers as we bring you some great ideas on how to use these wonderful rubber stamps and inkpads. You won't be disappointed!!!

Thanks for joining me. Until next time...

Hi Everyone,

The holidays are right around the corner (geez, did I just say that?) and we all need to get ready to create our holiday cards.  I will be sharing two different cards, this one and another for December.  When you're creating cards for the holidays you want them to be simple but pretty!  Of course with the Get-it-Straight Laser Square you'll have the simple part down!  And with your creativity if you choose to design your own, or even if you recreate this one, you'll definitely have the pretty!

Thank you for joining me.  Until next time...

It all started a year and a half ago.  I was at the CHA summer show in Chicago and found this fabulous new product tool from KellyCraft Innovations called the Get-it-Straight Laser Square™.  This new product makes layering your cards and scrapbook pages a breeze.  I am one of those crafters that can't draw a straight line with a ruler, so when I found the Get-it-Straight Laser Square I knew I was in love.  The more I worked with this tool, the more I loved it.  I never thought I would find a new tool that I had to have as much as the Laser Square...until now.

It's finally here.  The product that I have been waiting for over 6 months!!  The new Multi-Mat
from KellyCraftInnovations in the best new product on the market!

KellyCraft Innovations has just released a great companion for the Laser Square.  The Multi-Mat is a multi-purpose work surface that is designed to work hand-in-hand with the Laser Square.  It has a special cutout area that the Laser Square fits in perfectly that allows you to use the Laser Square without slipping.  The Multi-Mat is self healing and magnetic and provides you a safe surface for setting eyelets or using a piercing tool.  It comes with four small magnets that you can use to secure your project in place on the mat as you work.

These two products are a MUST HAVE for any crafter's tool kit and  I am so excited to be able to share this wonderful news with you.  The Get-it-Straight Laser Square has changed the way I design my projects.  It no longer takes me hours to finish my cards and scrapbook pages because I'm not spending that time trying to make sure everything aligns perfectly, so it frees up my time to add more details to my projects and get more projects created.  By adding the new Multi-Mat,  KellyCraftInnovations has designed the perfect products for any crafter's tool kit.  Be sure to add them to yours!  And for me...I have fallen in love all over again.  Thank you KellyCraft for making my life even better than before!!!

Merry Christmas Card

Hi Everyone,

With the holidays being right around the corner, I thought I would share a holiday card with you. I started out as a designer creating cards and I love it, especially now that I have the KellyCraft Laser Square in my tool box!

I did not create this card to be an easy mass production card where you can sit down and create 30 of them in one night. This card will take you a little bit longer to create but it's well worth the time you spend making it. This is the type of card that your recipient is going to want to save and cherish for a very long time. This type of card is my very favorite to create and I hope you'll love it too!

Thank you for joining me. Until next time...

Creepy Halloween Card

Hi Everyone,

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays! I love all the decorations, food, and all of those little ghouls & goblins ringing the doorbell and screaming "Trick or Treat!" Since my kids are grown now I don't get to take them around the neighborhood with their treat bags, but with my first grandbaby due in December, I'm sure going to take her next year!!!

As I was thinking about my project for this post I was thinking about making a treat bag for my soon- to-be grandbaby but since I can't take her out until next year, I decided to make this fabulous grown up Halloween card. My Get-it-Straight Laser Square made this card a breeze to make. I loved be able to put ribbon on my card and have it straight. I have never been able to do that before!

So, let's get started and I will show you once again why you really need this great tool in your studios!!!

Thank you for joining me. Until next time...

I am NOT a Morning Person!

Hi Everyone,

This post is from a recent blog hop that I did with the KellyCraft Team and Clearsnap.  Be sure to check out both websites for more ideas with these great new rubber stamps from KellyCraft and also more fabulous inkpads from Clearsnap!

One of the best things about being a Design Team member with KellyCraft, aside from working with the owners, Jimbo & Aaron, and having Ann as our Team Leader (they're all awesome!) is that we get to see the new products before they hit the market!

When I first saw the new line of "Jimbo Lojik" rubber stamps, I almost busted a gut laughing so hard at all the different sayings that the new line offers!  They are some of the funniest things that I've heard and they relate to everyone.

To prove my point, when KellyCraft offered this new line of rubber stamps at the CHA summer show in Vegas this past July, I had the pleasure of seeing first hand how people reacted to the stamps in our booth when they saw them.  Everyone, and I mean everyone, that picked up these stamps would read them and then laugh out loud!  I can't tell you how many people would say, "Hey, this sounds like our family" or something along those lines.  It was such a pleasure to stand in our booth and watch people get such a giggle out of these new stamps.  It made my whole show and I have never had more fun at work!!!

It is no secret that I am not a morning person and my KellyCraft family tease me about it all the time.  When I saw the set that I designed this card from, I asked Jimbo if he had made this stamp just for me.  He just smiled and said "Does it sound like anyone you know?" Yep, just like me.  I can't wait for all of you to buy these stamps, because I know you're going to say the exact same thing!

My Sweet Friend Card with KellyCraft!

Hi Everyone,

I created this card for the KellyCraft blog and I thought I would share it with you here.  I design different cards each month for the KellyCraft blog with their great tool, the Get-it-Straight Laser Square.  If you would like more ideas for using the Get-it-Straight Laser Square, stop by our blog at www.kellycraftblog.blogspot.com

These new stamps from JustRite Clear rubber stamps are fabulous! I really liked working with them on this card. If you join me at the KellyCraft blog every month, I will try to bring you cards that are anything but ordinary. I love putting time into my cards by layering, lots of embellishments, different shapes, cards that move, etc.

Every once in a while, I'll show you how to make a card fast and easy, but if you're looking for cards that are different and detailed, you've come to the right place. And of course to create these types of cards, your life will be some much easier if you add my favorite tool to YOUR toolbox...the Get-it-Straight Laser Square by KellyCraft.

Love is the Master Key Card

Hi Everyone,

This is a card that I created for another design team that I'm on for KellyCraft Innovation's Get-it-Straight Laser Square. I have been talking and promoting this fabulous product since I first saw it at the CHA summer show in 2012.

I love creating cards that are somehow different from the normal. I love cards that fold different, are shaped different, or maybe a card that moves, or shakes...you get the idea.
Every month on the KellyCraft blog, I'll teach you how to create different types of cards, but always made with my favorite tool, the Get-it-Straight Laser Square!

If you would like to get the material list and full instructions for each card that I create every month using this great tool, please visit the KellyCraft blog at www.kellycraftblog.blogspot.com.

Thank you for joining me.  Until next time...
