Bracelets & Boxes~Part 3

Since Monday was the 1st Monday of the month and the Designer Craft Connection's blog hop I was unable to post the last installment of my series, Bracelets & Boxes. So, without further hesitation, here is the last post. Enjoy!

Supplies for Bracelet
 
  Nylon Coated Jewelry Wire- 15” long, two pieces
 Clearsnap Style Stones
  Assorted beads by Blue Moon Beads
  Toggle clasp- Gold
  Crimp beads- Gold
  Dark Blue, Light Blue and Gold pigment inkpads
  Clear embossing powder
  Heat tool
  Jewelry tools- Round nose pliers and wire cutters
  Sponge
  Krylon Crystal Clear Coating
  Sun, Moon and Stars rubber stamps-  All Night Media 
 
Instructions for Bracelet 
 
1.  Using a sponge, cover three style stones with light blue ink. Stamp two stones with dark blue ink, and one with gold ink. Cover with clear embossing powder. Heat with heat tool. Sponge sides with dark blue ink. 
 
2.  Cut two pieces of jewelry wire 15” long. Thread a crimping bead to each wire and one end of clasp to the end of the wire. Pass wire back through crimping bead, leaving a slight tail. Use pliers to crimp together. 
 
3.  On each wire string one dark blue bead, one light blue bead, style stone, one dark blue bead, one light blue bead, one gold flower bead, one large blue tiger bead, gold flower bead, dark blue bead, light blue bead, style stone. Repeat pattern two more times, leaving off a forth style stone, and ending with light blue bead. 
 
4.  Thread a crimping bead to each wire and one end of clasp to the end of the wire. Pass wire back through crimping bead, leaving a slight tail. Use pliers to crimp together. Excess wire should be tucked into next bead.

Krylon 18KT Gold Plate Finish spray paint
Blue & Gold pattern paper
Blue card stock
Magic Mesh Black 3”W x 2”H
Amaco Wire Mesh- Gold  2 ½”W x 2 ¼”H
Amaco Aluminum-Matte Black 1 ¾”W x 1 ¾”H
Gold pigment inkpad
Clear embossing powder
Heat tool
Gold micro beads
Blue glass beads-4
Blue beaded trim
Blue braided trim
Beacon Adhesives Glass, Metal & More glue
Jump rings-2
Sun & Moon charms

Instructions for Box 
 
Step 1. Spray entire tin box with 18KT Gold Plate Finish spray paint. Let dry. Lay box upside down on pattern paper and trace box lid with pencil. Repeat on blue card stock for inside lid.  Lay box bottom side down on blue card stock for inside bottom lid. Cut out papers. Glue papers to inside and outside of tin.
 
 Step 2. Stamp sun on black aluminum with gold pigment inkpad. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over image, remove excess and heat with heat tool. Cut edges with decorative scissors. On box lid, layer Magic Mesh, Wire Mesh and stamped aluminum. Adhere each piece with glue.
 
Step 3. Apply thin layer of glue around gold wire mesh. Adhere gold beads. Layer blue beaded trim and blue braided trim and adhere to outside of lid top. Add two beads to each jump ring. Attach to sun and moon charms. Adhere charms to box lid using picture for placement if needed.
