Beautiful Bird Journal

It’s time once again for another round of blog hopping with the fabulous designers of Designer Craft Connection. The first Monday of every month we pick a theme and then create a project around that theme. Since the first Monday of this month fell a day after New Year’s we decided to postpone our blog hop until today. 

This month’s theme is journaling. I was very excited about our journaling theme because I love to design and create journals! You can do so many things in creating a journal. They can be fun & simple or you can go all out and create something elaborate. Whichever way you choose to go, your journals should say something about yourself or the person you are creating it for. 

The journal that I am sharing with you today, I designed for a friend of mine, Brenda Pinnick, another outstanding designer. Brenda had just finished creating a new line of rubber stamps and she was going to appear on the Home Shopping Network to introduce them to the crafting world. She sent me all of her new stamp line and asked me to design something using them. Well, needless to say you don’t have to ask me twice, so I set out to create this beautiful bird journal.
