Flowers & Swirls Tag with KellyCraft

Hi Everyone,

I created this tag with the Get-it-Straight Laser Square and the KellyCraft blog.  This really pretty tag measures 6" x 6" and for me, it just screams Spring!   I love the bright colors with the flowers and swirls.  This tag is something that won't end up in the trash can after your friend or family member sees it.  They are going to want to place it in a frame and hang it on their wall!   What better way can you say that "I'm thinking of you!"

For the complete instructions and supply list for this tag, please visit the KellyCraft blog at

Thank you for joining me. Until next time...

Colorful Floral Centerpiece

Hi Everyone,

I created this beautiful floral centerpiece for the Spring issue of Bella Crafts Quarterly.  I absolutely love color and this centerpiece has lots of it!

If you haven't seen our Bella Crafts Quarterly publication, I would love to have you check it out for yourself. It's a craft publication that is full of wonderful projects and articles about crafting and the craft industry. The best part of our magazine is that it's FREE! Your can either download it to your computer, iPad or other electronic device or you can view it online. Either way, it's free, free, FREE!!!

If you want more information about our magazine and/or you would like to learn how to create this colorful centerpiece, please visit our website at bellacraftsquarterly.com. You can also check out our Bella Blog at bellacraftsquarterly.com/bella-blog. Or when you visit our website you can simply click on the Bella Blog tab at the top of our page. The Bella Blog has additional information that is not in the magazine and you won't want to miss!

I would love to hear from you! Let me know what you think about our magazine. Our Summer issue will be out in less than two weeks on June 1st. It too, is full of summer projects and great new articles. My "Lessons with Lisa" column will share a brand new product from Clearsnap that has just recently hit the stores!

My Sweet Friend Card with KellyCraft!

Hi Everyone,

I created this card for the KellyCraft blog and I thought I would share it with you here.  I design different cards each month for the KellyCraft blog with their great tool, the Get-it-Straight Laser Square.  If you would like more ideas for using the Get-it-Straight Laser Square, stop by our blog at www.kellycraftblog.blogspot.com

These new stamps from JustRite Clear rubber stamps are fabulous! I really liked working with them on this card. If you join me at the KellyCraft blog every month, I will try to bring you cards that are anything but ordinary. I love putting time into my cards by layering, lots of embellishments, different shapes, cards that move, etc.

Every once in a while, I'll show you how to make a card fast and easy, but if you're looking for cards that are different and detailed, you've come to the right place. And of course to create these types of cards, your life will be some much easier if you add my favorite tool to YOUR toolbox...the Get-it-Straight Laser Square by KellyCraft.

My Sweet Friend Card

Color all stamped images with chalk pencils

Using the Get-it-Straight Laser Square, stamp inside of
the card with Mudslide inkpad.

Color the stamped images with chalk pencils. Adhere outside
of the card together with double sided tape.

Adhere butterflies and "Special Friend" to card front
with foam tape, using Get-it-Straight Laser Square
for placement.

Adhere buttons to inside of card with
double sided tape. Ink all the edges of the card
with Mudslide inkpad.

Crystal Floral Necklace

Hi Everyone,

For my last two posts for Connie Crystal's blog, I used the beautiful white crystal sheets to design first a cuff bracelet and then I designed a set of earrings to match. I thought I would stop there, but I love these crystal sheets so much that I felt I needed to finished the jewelry set with a matching necklace.

I really hope that you head over to your local craft store and purchase some of these crystal sheets. There are so many fabulous things you could create with these sheets and you'll have so much fun working with it!

I just love this jewelry set so much that I plan on creating a few sets for some birthday gifts that I'll need in the very near future. Don't you have someone in your circle of friends and family that would love a gift like this? Boy, I know I do!!!

For a complete supply list and instructions for this project, please visit the Connie Crystal blog at www.sparklebycc.com. My post will be up tomorrow May 22nd.

Thank you for joining me. Until next time...
